About me

Amanda Shufflebotham
I have been working in the design industry since leaving college in 1989. I consider myself an all round designer with experience in branding, layout, signage, display and Illustration.
My career started in Medical Educational Communications, working for clients including Glaxo, Pfizer and Zeneca.
A move into Advertising and Design a few years later led to joining the design team at Stills Design and later Hughes Design & Advertising in Cardiff, involving a variety of projects for Panasonic, Eversheds, Principality Building Society, PHS Group, The Welsh Language Board and the Welsh Tourist Board.
I have freelanced since 2004, my own clients have included Mandarin Stone, Severnside Recycling and The Welsh Blood Service. I’ve also worked with many start up businesses in helping them launch with a strong identity.
I have always maintained excellent working relationships with customers and enjoy working in a team and alone.
In recent years I have been developing a more illustrative approach and have licensed my designs in the UK and US to the homeware and giftware sector. Recently I have been commissioned to illustrate and develop giftware merchandise for use in US National Park gift stores, on behalf of a design agency based in Los Angeles.
